We warmly invite you to join one of our Connect groups. Connect groups meet mid-week in the relaxed atmosphere of members’ own homes. Activities include worship, bible study, prayer for each other and the wider world, and socials.
Connect groups offer an environment of friendship and trust where we can support and encourage each other in our wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. We try to look outwards as well as inwards as we seek to put the gospel into practice in our lives.
If you would like to join one of our groups, please contact Rich White: email@example.com or Sue Kirby: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone the Church Office on: 01993 779 613.
We meet each week and concentrate on intercessory prayer for people and events in our locality and the nation.
Our group uses bible studies to explore their faith and promote meaningful and lively discussions
Held fortnightly on a Tuesday:13.15-15.30, we share lunch then move on to worship, discussion & prayer. Most of the topics are chosen by group members themselves. Our focus is on inclusion and the ethos of our group is caring, listening and empowering.
We meet fortnightly for Bible Study, Prayer and fellowship, taking a special interest in the Madley Park community.
Our Connect Group is a place where we gather to meet with God and one another, through worship, exploring the Bible and praying together. We are excited about developing our friendships, coming alongside one another in the highs and lows of everyday life and encouraging one another to explore what God has for each of us.
We enjoy worshipping God, exploring His word together and supporting one another in prayer as a springboard for our witness to the wider world. We usually meet at 7.00 pm to share supper.
We are a friendly, relaxed and welcoming group whose aim is to help each other put God’s word into practice. We have an informal mix of catching up over coffee and cake, reading the Bible together and praying for whatever needs arise – lots of lively discussion and a light touch.
We are a relaxed and friendly group open to anyone. Our group currently consists of mainly 30s-40s with young children. Our aim is to cultivate a safe environment for sharing, growth, prayer and friendship. We are a sociable group enjoying good food, wine and whole family meetups.
We are a lively, good-humoured group that meets fortnightly to encounter God through exploring the Bible and through prayer, to learn about our faith, and to support each other on the journey.
Our group aims to provide friendship and fellowship for people in their twenties and thirties and support them through the changes and challenges that this stage of life brings.
We want to build a real sense of community where every member feels supported and comfortable sharing both their successes and struggles. We love to apply our faith in practical ways in the community and enjoy a varied programme of prayer, Bible study, meals and social events. We welcome new members who would like to join us in our journey of faith!
We meet to encourage and support each other through prayer, reading the bible and generally sharing the ups and downs of life. New people welcome!
We are an informal group who have a catch- up over tea and biscuits, followed by a Bible study and prayer. We pray for anything from our family situations, for the Kingdom coming in Witney, to world situations including our persecuted sisters and brothers. All have an opportunity to share and our time together has a light touch.
A new group still getting to know each other. We are an informal friendly group that laugh a lot. We want to maintain a relaxed, safe and authentic place where you can be yourself and be encouraged and supported in your relationship with God.
A group ideally suited to those who have been through the Alpha course wanting to experience friendship and continue the journey of discovering who Jesus is and how he shapes our lives.
