To the Memory of ROBERT WHITLOCK who died Septr 22nd 1826. Aged 49 years A Pale consumption, gave the fatal blow, The stroke was certain but the effect was slow. With wasting Pain, death found me sore oppresed Pi[__]ed my sighs and kindly gave me rest Also of ROBERT WHITLOCK SMITH, son of WILLIAM & LUCY SMITH, who died Feby 21st 1827 Aged 7 years Weep not for me my parents dear But rather do rejoice Tho I was called away so soon Twas the Almightys choice.
